Face Fear OR Earn Respect!!!

According to dictionary.reference.com, Fear coins as a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid while, Respect is detailed as a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, and achievements. Both are the natural characteristics of human behaviour and yes they both are also a main aspects of life to live in a peaceful environment. Respect generally means taking into consideration of someone's or something's feelings, needs, thoughts, ideas, wishes and preferences. It also means acknowledging them, listening to them, being truthful with them and accepting their individuality and idiosyncrasies. In the other hand, fear means a purer emotion. It’s simply the recognition that someone or something has the potential to harm you, and nothing more. It does not involve the complex mix of attraction and avoidance that respect does - it simply makes people want to get away from the object of fear, and stay away.

Respect is positive emotion while fear is negative one. Moreover, fear is toxic and respect is nurturing. Fear is the one which destroys self-confidence while respect builds it. Fear is forced while respect is earned. Fear is life-threatening but respect is life enhancing. A fearful respect is of no use while a respectful fear always leads you to success. Fear is learned while respect is achieved. A fearful respect gives limited satisfaction while respectful fear is always long-lasting. It is better to take respectful fear then to earn fearful respect.

If viewed from the deep core of heart, fear is as equally important as respect is to live a happy life. Being fear about some crimes will distract people from doing such crimes. All people should fear in the faith of God so they always act morally and legally. Neither too much fear nor too much respect about something or someone is good because too much fear may lead the person who fears, to destroy that what he fears from and too much respect too may make people egoistic and arrogant. So it’s better to fear from immoral activities and respect every morality. It depends upon you whether to choose respectful fear or fearful respect.
